Avery's Graduation!

My lil' ham is a MAN!! Well, it sure feels like it anyway.
He graduated from Kindergarten a few weeks ago, too bad Mark missed it. My parents came to Hip-Hip Hooray with us though and we had a great weekend. The ceremony was so impressive! Complete with a cap and gown AND a class ring. I told Avery that no one in our family would be caught dead wearing fake gold, lol so now he poo-poo's it, HA! But in any event, it was a really nice gesture.
Next stop Harvard! Yep!

Our PV, Mexico trip

Mark's mid-tour was AWESOME! While Mark was home, we flew to Puerto Vallarata, Mexico! (left the kiddos with my parents) We had so much fun! Our resort was lovely, the staff was amazing, and PV was breath taking! We will be returning and maybe for longer next time. We stayed 5 days but it was hardly enough.
We went zip lining, horseback riding through the jungle, hand gliding, and went on an amazing cruise to a private island for dinner and a show. Gosh! It was just all too perfect!

My ring is finally here!

I have been waiting close to a month, although it feels more like an eternity, for this ring to make its way to my bare finger (it was at the jewelers being re sized) I have to admit I did not wear my set the whole time it was away. I know, I know. I'm a brat! What can I say? At least I own up to it.
Now that it's here again...life can go on.
So on my way home from the gym today a very inquisitive gate guard asked me, "where's your ring ma'am?" I wanted to slap him because the truth is...I thought I'd never see it again. But today Booya Baby!I was hoping to see that silly lil' man at the gate again so I could blind him with my fire power but he wasn't there. Instead the new guy admired Lilly (my dog) Really MISTER!?
So....here it is!
Well, those of you that have never seen my set before, it was the band and engagement ring. The new ring is the 2nd band identical to the first. My set is complete!
Although my fingers don't do my rings any justice, I LOVE THEM!
Oh Mark...how do I love thee. Let me count the ways....1-2-3...

Edit: 6/07/2010 Would you believe that originally it was too small so we had it resized and now its slipping so I haven't been wearing it?!?!?! So back to our jeweler it goes.... la-dee-da

Eh...not so super but still had a nice day

Ok, so I couldn't come up with anything super fun that didn't involve being outdoors and as crazy as it may seem, it was pretty cold today. We ended up ordering a yummy pizza, not so great wings and watched Star Trek. Btw...I have crossed over to the dark side. After being married to my very Treky hubby for 10 years, I finally see what all the hype is about. I really enjoyed the movie as did the boys.
Well, its time to get these kiddos ready for bed. Tomorrow is the begining of a fabulous week, guaranteed!

Super Bowl Sunday 2010

Well today is Superbowl Sunday and I had no idea it would be so lonely without Mark here. Ok, so he's been gone for a while but something is "off" when the biggest "man day" of the year is spent with my two little bears and papa bear is gonzos :/
Also, we have been on this no cable kick for a good two years since all that is ever on TV are commercials and we have a problem paying for something we hardly ever use. (we just get all our fav. series on dvd) The downside, can't watch the bowl that is super at home. Ugh! What to do with my two lil' fellas today? I'll think of something. Stay tuned because I am sure pics will be taken ;)
